The project is funded under the 7th EU Research Framework Programme and runs from February 2009 until January 2013. The project consortium comprises eigtheen partners from European countries and the Russian Federation. The six work packages include analytical exercises, the implementation of a joint call with the aim of developing a sustainable programme and the organisation of conferences and workshops.

- Pilot Joint Call in Collaborative S&T Projects (call closed) - FINAL DECISION -
List of selected projects
The Group of Funding Parties (GFP) of the Pilot Joint Call on Collaborative S&T Projects has now finally decided to fund the following 31 research projects (coordinators given in bold type).
All coordinators will soon be informed about the contracting process. The Joint Call Secretariat (JCS) received a total of 183 eligible project proposals, a tremendous response to the open call. Although the majority of the projects have great merits, they had to compete with many other proposals.
In the end, not all of them could be funded, partially due to a lack of funds. We would like to add that due to the pilot character of this call for proposals and the involvement of 18 Funding Parties, the process of reaching a final funding decision has been complex and time-consuming.
Your patience through a long process is greatly appreciated and we apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused.May 16, 2012
