ERA.Net RUS aims at intensifying and strengthening S&T cooperation between Russia and Europe by the coordination of MS/AC S&T programmes towards and with Russia. The project is funded under the 7th EU Research Framework Programme and runs from February 2009 until July 2013. The project consortium comprises eigtheen partners from European countries and the Russian Federation. The six work packages include analytical exercises, the implementation of a joint call with the aim of developing a sustainable programme and the organisation of conferences and workshops.
Overview of EU-Russia R&D and Innovation Cooperation
A foresight exercise conducted by ERA.Net RUS prepared structural and thematic scenarios for R&D and innovation cooperation between EU Member States (MS), Associated Countries (AC) to FP7 and Russia. The foresight and the resulting scenarios are meant to provide a basis for a sustainable joint funding programme between EU MS/AC and Russia. Download the Foresight Background Paper (PDF, 1.13 MB).

From ERA.Net RUS to ERA-NET Plus – New horizons in European-Russian research cooperation
