3.1 Molecular Mechanisms of Brain Function and Pathology

Brain research is focused on investigation of brain function in normal and pathological stay of the organism. It may comprise functional imaging of different brain zones, elaboration of new approaches how to investigate cognitive functionality and stimulate signaling processes. The animal models of mental, neurodegenerative and neuronal inflammation may be regarded here. Application of these data for human are stimulated. Stroke and post‐traumatic effects, epilepsy research are appreciated. New approaches to drug discovery and delivery in brain neuronal diseases including primary carcinogenesis and metastasis are welcomed.
